Decisions, decisions - Waterfall Chamber or Crystal Passage?

Virtual Tour [36]

Head on to the Duck, or enter Bone Passage.

Virtual Tour [37]

The cold dark water of the duck beckons. Mind your head and prepare for a good soaking!

Virtual Tour [38]

Be careful here. This section of the passage can fill to the roof during heavy rain. However, the crawl in the water is short and you can soon stand up again.

Virtual Tour [35]

End of Crystal Passage.  Return to junction.

Virtual Tour [19]

Terminal Chamber and the end of the cave.  You now have to return to the surface the way you came in!  Have a safe trip.

Virtual Tour [18]

The main way on continues down this rift passage with boulders poised in the roof.  Pass below the large boulder to get to the end of the cave

Virtual Tour [17]

In this section of the main stream passage one has a choice of low-level and high-level routes to explore. To continue on to the end of the cave follow the water

Virtual Tour [15]

This unusual formation is located in the upper series of the cave where a plant root has penetrated the cave roof and has become coated in calcite.  Be careful of your footing here - it is a 3 metre drop back to the stream!

Virtual Tour [16]

Traversing along narrow ledges in the roof of the cave above the stream passage, raw geology can be seen.  Here, the caver is looking at a volcanic dyke some 70 million years old!  From here you will have to climb back down to the stream

Virtual Tour [13]

The caver looks for the way on in Dwarrowdelf. Here, you have a choice of low-level and high-level routes. For the high-level route look to the sloping ledge for a foothold!

Virtual Tour [14]

Gour formations can be found at the sides of the main stream passage here.  For the way on look to the right of the image

At the top of the waterfall, so watch your footing!

Virtual Tour [8]

Look for the gour pools hidden away on the right-hand side of the passage as you go downstream.  The way on is in the top left of the image.
